Sir Harold Kroto visiting BiBCOM
|
On Monday 23rd June at the ‘Kroto Research Institute Annual Symposium’ (held at The University of Sheffield North Campus Conference Centre), following a formal announcement by George Rees, North Campus Business Development Director, BiBCOM proudly presented one of their leading edge technology products - a Site Watch 3G Camera Unit, SW-200B-P, including a sensor - as a joint gift with Sheffield University, to Professor Sir Harold Kroto (Nobel Prize winner 1996) and his wife Lady Margaret Kroto.
The following day, Tuesday 24th June, 2008, BiBCOM received a visit from Sir Harold and Lady Margaret Kroto. Managing Director, BiBCOM, Easa Taheri says “We were very pleased to receive Professor Sir Harry and Lady Margaret Kroto.” However this was not their first visit. Back in 2007 during BiBCOM’s product development stage they made a similar visit to BiBCOM. At that time they expressed a great interest in the functionality and ease of use of BiBCOM products. Mr Taheri adds “This second visit enabled us to demonstrate how we had progressed from development in 2007 to sales which began this year in May 2008.”
